Eligibility Criteria

  • Must possess at least 50% aggregate from a recognized institution in 12th, from any board PUC/CBSE/ICSE/ISC, etc. However, the cut-off margin varies with the selection process of different colleges. Only a background in science is viable.
  • Should procure a valid score in entrance exams such as JEE-MAINS/NATA/CEED/JEE-Advanced, etc. Different colleges offer their entrance exams if you don’t have a satisfactory score in JEE or other competitive exams – colleges like NMIMS, Symbiosis International University, XUB, Andhra University, LPU, etc.
  • To become an Interior Designer, one must earn a degree in BE/B.Tech or a diploma. These are the basic qualifications you will require.
  • An M.Des in Interior Designing can also prove to be helpful while looking for a higher degree and better learning.

Tasks to perform

  • Configuration, assembly, and arranging of carpeting, decorations, fabrics, curtains, painting and wall coverings, art work, chairs, and other similar things are all done by subcontractors.
  • Establish an ecological agenda that is feasible, aesthetically pleasing, and beneficial to the desired goals, such as increasing efficiency or increasing sales.

  • Secretarial — Understanding of secretarial and operational processes and programs such as document editing, document and database management, speech and recording, type layout, and other workplace practices and jargon.
  • Computer Application — Understanding the prospects and functioning of circuit boards, processing units, circuits, electrical devices, computer equipment, plus applications and programming.
  • Consumer and Individualized Service — Awareness of consumer and personal care values and procedures. This involves determining customer expectations, maintaining consumer experience requirements, and assessing brand loyalty.
  • Public Health and Welfare — Regulation of related facilities, policies, practises, and techniques to facilitate successful municipal, regional, or national defense operations for the safety of persons records, property, and organisations is required for collective health and welfare of everyone.
