Eligibility Criteria

  • Must possess at least 50% aggregate from a recognized institution in 12th, from any board PUC/CBSE/ICSE/ISC, etc. However, the cut-off margin varies with the selection process of different colleges. Only a science qualification is viable to pursue a degree in science.

  • An M.Tech in Geological Engineering can also prove to be helpful while looking for a higher degree and better learning.

Tasks to perform

  • Choosing sites and scheduling underground or external mining activities, defining procedures, labor use, and machinery, which will lead to safe, cost-effective, and eco-friendly sustainable production of important metals.

Analyze maps, reserves, exploration sites, or mines to evaluate the destination, scale, ease of access, material, importance, and future viability of mineral, hydrocarbon reserves.
  • Choose or design materials operating methods and machinery for shipping ore, contaminants, and mineral goods using cost-effective methods and increasing efficiency.
