Eligibility Criteria

  • Must possess at least 50% aggregate from a recognized institution in 12th, from any board PUC/CBSE/ICSE/ISC, etc. However, the cut-off margin varies with the selection process of different colleges.
  • Should procure a valid score in entrance exams such as JEE-MAINS/CET/VITEEE/JEE-Advanced, etc. Different colleges offer their own entrance exams if you don’t have a satisfactory score in JEE or other competitive exams – colleges like NMIMS, Symbiosis International University, XUB, Andhra University, LPU, etc. Every state offers their own entrance exam as well.
  • One must earn a degree in B.Sc/B.Tech or a Diploma to become an Energy Engineer. This is a basic qualification you must require to enroll in this line of work.
  • An M.Tech in Energy Engineering can also prove to be helpful while looking for a higher degree and better learning.

Tasks to perform

  • Handle the planning, design, or installation of energy efficiency programmes to ensure that finances and timeframes are met, that provincial and national regulations are implemented, and that authorized standards are followed.
  • Initiate fuel analysis to ensure power use and recognize recycling and cost-cutting steps.
  • Climate-related architecture or development problems, such as energy engineering, climate conservation, or environmental design, should be controlled.
  • Investigate conventional or clean power mechanisms or developments, such as solar power or battery storage energy.
  • To measure power consumption, review construction, industrial, or electronic plans or requirements.

Knowledge required

  • Commercialization and Statistics — Understanding of associated accounting concepts and practises, capital markets, finance, and the study and presentation of financial results.
  • Development and Manufacturing — Comprehension of raw materials, production methods, quality management, prices and other strategies to optimize the successful produce and delivery of products.
  • Engineering and Design — Acknowledging the required materials, techniques, and equipment used in the development or renovation of homes, vehicles, and other infrastructure such as streets and highways.
  • Computer Application - Understanding the prospects and functioning of circuit boards, processing units, circuits, electrical devices, computer equipment, plus applications and programming.
  • Apprehension in Physics — Insight in forecasting of basic phenomenon, laws, their cross - functional and applications for interpreting fluid, substance, and airborne mechanics, and structural, electronic, atomic, and micro structures and processes.

  • Technological Supervision — Entails determining metrics or indices of program success as well as the steps required to enhance or improve effectiveness in relation to the system's objectives.
  • Task Management — Solving entails recognizing specific challenges and evaluating relevant knowledge in order to create, analyse, and execute approaches.

  • Heating and Ventilation Systems Engineer: Heating and ventilation system guarantees the establishments have a comfortable atmosphere in which to live and function.
