Career as a Cytogenetic Technologist
To detect and cure hereditary conditions and illnesses, cytogenetic technologist plans, tests, and analyses genomes present in the blood, epidermal fluids, and spinal fluid. The work will range from identifying the hereditary effect on a quickly emerging illness in an adult to congenital abnormalities, reproductive issues, and hematological conditions. Any congenital diseases are caused by an irregular amount of chromosomes and others are caused by genetic material lacking components. Cytogenetic technologists monitor and study body fluids, blood, bone, genes, cells, and several substances using microscopes and other diagnostic scanning instruments.
